I am quite sure you, like me, are just amazed that Christmas is upon us already! As I write, our office is festooned with decorations and there is a general feeling of anticipation, even in these difficult economic times.

Since my last newsletter I have been doing a fair amount of travelling: I went to Paris to see my dear old friend Elisabeth and we reminisced about our childhood correspondence when she was learning English and I was learning French… it seems like yesterday!
